A goddess with only fairly localized importance, Tasenetnofret was honored at Kom Ombo in Upper Egypt as the consort of Horus and mother of Panebtway. Her name means 'the good sister' or 'the beautiful sister' and she appears to be essentially a local manifestation of Hathor.
